  • Why Every Traveler Needs a Mobility Flight Cover – And Why We Designed One That Fits Almost Any Device In today’s fast-paced world of air travel, mobility devices like wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers are essential for millions of people. Unfortunately, one thing has become painfully clear: airports can be tough on these vital aids. Despite regulations and best intentions, rough handling during transit leads to all too frequent damage — and with it, a surge in insurance claims and frustrated travelers. At our company, we’ve been making custom mobility flight covers for years. In fact, due to the high volume of damage reports and customer inquiries we receive, we’ve seen firsthand how common — and preventable — this damage can be. From dented frames to broken control panels and lost components, the stories are all too similar. That’s why we believe a quality flight cover isn’t just an accessory — it’s a necessity. The Problem: Rough Handling and Poor Protection When you check in a mobility device at the airport, you’re essentially handing over something irreplaceable. Our Response: A Universal, Suitcase-Style Flight Cover Because we were getting so many questions about compatibility — “Will this fit my XYZ model?” or “I have a unique frame, what do I do?” — our design team went back to the drawing board. After analyzing hundreds of mobility devices across brands and models, we developed a breakthrough solution: a universal-fit flight cover with interior dimensions of 100 cm x 45 cm x 55 cm (approx. 39” x 18” x 22”).
